Every year "Il Palio del Daino" takes place in Mondaino.
It is celebrated every year in the second half of August in memory of the day in which Count Federico
da Montefeltro and Sigismondo Malatesta met and after signing the peace between the two factions they gave
themselves to the celebrations.
The festival lasts 4 days, but only the last day is that of the palio, where the 4 districts collide.
