Torriana is a medieval village with a powerful castle: “Scorticata” is the ancient name of the village's fortress, this was its name until 1938.
The location was chosen in 2018 as the most beautiful town in Emilia-Romagna for its enchanting view of the sea which earned it the title of "Balcony of Romagna".
