Every summer, between the sea breeze of the Adriatic and the vibrant heart of Romagna, Rimini becomes an open-air stage for thousands of fans of comics, anime, video games – and of course – cosplay. We're talking about the legendary Riminicomix, one of Italy’s most beloved nerd festivals, blending pop culture, passion, and creativity.
A Festival by the Sea
Held every July just steps from the beach at Parco Fellini, Riminicomix is a mix of comic book stands, artists, publishers, and pure color. The vibe is pure “nerd vacation”: between a swim and a gelato, you walk among hundreds of cosplayers, meet authors, and take part in unique events.
Cosplay: The Heart of Riminicomix
Cosplay is one of the stars of the show. Every day, dozens (sometimes hundreds) of participants show off spectacular, detailed, or hilarious costumes in a true carnival of imagination.

Cosplay Contest – Daily competitions with prizes for best costume, performance, and group.
Outdoor Photoshoots – The park, Ferris wheel, and seafront make perfect backdrops.
