PAC-MAN
Pac-Man is one of the oldest and most famous video games in history, created by Namco on May 22, 1980 in the arcade format.
Initially the idea for this game came to Tohru Iwatani, who while having dinner, saw a pizza missing a slice and, after about a year and two months from that dinner, gave birth to the first real Pac-Man.
Following the marketing of the game in Japanese arcades, the latter immediately had widespread success, so much so that over the years it was adapted for various devices such as consoles, smartphones and PCs.
The game itself does not present particular rules or difficulties: basically the player takes command of a yellow sphere that opens and closes its mouth, which takes the name of Pac-Man, which must be made to eat all the dots present in an orderly manner in the labyrinth drawn on the screen. Once all the dots have been devoured, you level up; It should be noted, however, that the next level is simply the exact copy of the previous one, so what does the difficulty consist of?
Ghosts will act as an obstacle for the player and every time they manage to touch Pac-Man they will cause him to lose one of his three lives.
Once you have run out of lives, the game ends.
To facilitate the player's task, in the four corners of the labyrinth there are "Power Pills", which are nothing more than special pills that the player can use in a moment of need, which will make the ghost enemies vulnerable, giving the possibility Pac-man to devour them.
The "Perfect score" or the maximum points that can be achieved are: 3,333,360, as due to a bug in the code it is not possible to go beyond level number 256.
