OLTREMARE - RICCIONE
Oltremare is a naturalistic-technological theme park in Riccione, specialized in the protection of particular species of land and sea animals.
It is a fascinating tribute to our planet and our seas, where fun is intertwined with opportunities for learning and personal development.
Many of Oltremare's attractions have animals and nature as protagonists, but above all emotions and fun such as:
– Dolphin lagoon: it is the very emblem of the Oltremare park, given that it is an area of 9 million liters of salt water where Ulysses, the dolphin symbol and mascot of the park, lives, and exciting shows are held right here between evolutions, splashes and jumps. It is in fact one of the largest dolphinariums in Europe and Ulysses performs incredible shows together with other dolphins;
– Adventure Island: it is the ideal game for hot summer days as, on board special boats, an entire aquatic journey takes place that extends over an area of about 4,000 square meters, including ladders, bridges, poles, ropes, islands of sand, but be careful… from the surrounding hills, behind the bushes, special cannons that shoot water are hidden and therefore you will see a battle to the last splash since even on board the ships there are water cannons;
– Owl mill: area where birds of prey are found and exhibited in shows that amaze young and old;
– Planet Earth: a journey to discover the birth and evolution of life on planet Earth;
– Hippocampus: there are sea dragons and seahorses in the planet sea setting;
– Sea planet: sharks, fin whales, dolphins, sunfish, tuna to get to know up close for a fascinating encounter to discover life on the sea planet;
– Farm: a real farm within a faithful reconstruction of the Po River Delta environment populated by many domestic and wild animals that children will be able to see and admire up close such as geese, ducks, storks, amphibians, fish;
– Darwin: an engaging journey inside a spectacular glass and steel dome that recreates the typical environment of the Cretaceous period when there were dinosaurs, piranhas, alligators and prehistoric forests.
During the day, the Oltremare Park also organizes numerous shows that have animals, nature and the entertainment of small and large spectators as protagonists. In the Oltremare Theater there are musicals, performances of tropical parrots, fantastic characters in majestic costumes that will make every fantastic fairy tale come true.
