LOVERS' WALK GRADARA
This is a short but evocative itinerary that, starting from the Rocca, allows you to explore Gradara and its beauties from different angles. It is also known as the Path of Paolo and Francesca, two personalities immortalized by the fifth canto of Dante's Inferno who consummated their tragic love passion right at the Gradara Castle, even though there are no real historical or literary references to the two lovers, except for a general reference to "romanticism" (but don't worry, it's a route suitable for anyone who wants to do something alternative in Gradara, whether you're in love or not).
A walk of about 3 kilometers, very simple and accessible to everyone, which follows a circular path: you start from the Rocca and return to the Rocca.
Indicated with red and yellow signs, the route initially crosses the historic center, and then exits it. After a short stretch of asphalt road, you slowly enter a countryside environment, where nature reigns supreme.
A walk that allows you to discover the surroundings of the village, which has much to offer even outside the walls that make it famous.
