BEACH VOLLEY

In Riccione, there is no beach without a beach volleyball field... serves, blocks, dunks, baghers and dives... give emotions under the sun amidst beads of sweat and clouds of sand.

It is a team sport, played on the sand and became Olympic in 1996.

It is a variant of volleyball, two teams of two players compete on a field divided by a net.

It is the most popular sport among those practiced on the beach.

In every corner of the globe, all bathing establishments have at least one beach volleyball court, because it is easily practicable, requires little space, little equipment and little maintenance.
