BEACH TENNIS
GAME
Beach tennis is a sport that was created in Italy and derives from the game of rackets.
It was practiced for the first time in the early 70s, when some swimmers on the Romagna coast had the idea of using the beach volleyball courts to play with rackets.
For a long time it was considered a game for tourists, without rules, until 1996 when Giandomenico Bellettini fixed the current rules.

Beach Tennis is practiced on the sand with rackets and tennis balls on a field and a net similar to that of volleyball.
The beach Arena is a large area entirely dedicated to this sport: ten beach tennis courts, a refreshment point, changing rooms, showers, umbrellas and a relaxation area, lit up in the evening to try out night-time beach tennis.
