AQUAFAN RICCIONE
Aquafan is one of the most famous water parks in Europe and the most visited in Italy. It is located on the first hills of Riccione, a few steps from the motorway exit and about 10 km from Rimini. Built in 1987, it occupies a total area of 150,000 square meters, including water games suitable for all ages, green spaces, a disco area, refreshment points and a large car park.
Aquafan is a park especially loved by young people and over the years its attractions and events have become a magnet throughout Europe. In addition to slides, pools and water games, there are three areas dedicated to children.
Among the most famous slides: Kamikaze, a 90 m high double slide from which you descend at about 70 km/h; Extreme River, a 16 m high ramp where you descend in harmonic motion; StrizzaCool for adrenaline-pumping descents, Fiume Lento, a relaxing 130 m long raft ride; Scivoli Alti, Fiume Rapido, Twister and Black Hole the new 2017, a rapid slide 208 meters long, which is covered completely in the dark.
The park is also equipped with a Wave Pool, where all the main events and entertainment activities take place. The swimming pool has an area of 2800 square meters and a maximum depth of 3 meters, and every hour, to the sound of a bell, it is filled with fun artificially generated waves.
For the little ones we have: Elefant Swimming Pool, where the water reaches a maximum height of 60 cm, Focus Junior Beach, with its 4 slides; Antarctic Baby Beach, suitable for children up to 140 cm tall, and Baby Foam Party, to have fun dancing in the foam.
During the summer, Aquafan in collaboration with Radio Deejay organizes concerts and evenings with dj-sets (among past guests: Avicii, Gabry Ponte, Fabri Fibra, David Guetta) and the "Night&Day" parties, a unique event in the panorama of musical entertainment and not only of the Italian summer.
