ACQUARIO DI CATTOLICA
The Cattolica Aquarium is the most important aquarium in the Adriatic and the second largest in Italy in size.
The aquarium offers four thematic itineraries:
Blue Route: discovering the underwater biological evolution of planet Earth, with more than 100 tanks, the route recreates habitats and aquatic scenarios, from the Mediterranean Sea to the oceans to the coral reef of the Red Sea. To admire and learn about such a vast and often little known world, with its inhabitants: sharks, turtles, penguins, jellyfish, stingrays and many others.
Yellow Route: two large tanks presented in their natural environment, dedicated to waterways and to two animal species: caimans and otters,
Green Route: dedicated to the world of exotic animals, including snakes, chameleons, frogs and insects;
Purple Route: an exhibition on the species of the sea depths, where you can listen to the sounds emitted by some species to communicate with each other.
In the park there are refreshment points, gift shops and green outdoor areas.
